Little time machine hotel
Last minute changes have landed me in the most curious of places. I went to check into the hotel last night around midnight because that’s how we do. The clerk tells me very calmly “we don’t have hot water at the moment sir, hope this is not a problem”.
I did the only reasonable thing a man should do. I got back in the taxi, and left. You see it’s the middle of winter down here and the temperatures are flirting with single digits (Celsius). So, since part of the plan is not to die, I left in search for a hotel without a death trap.
As if the car was a little time machine, I’ve landed in the most curious of hotels, one complete stuck in the 70’s and I’m loving it.
Try to picture this, the hotel is a cylinder with a snail staircases in the center of it. Thankfully there is a working elevator, but aside from that, the design is quite unique.
The restaurant is on the second snail coil, and my room is on the 11th. Lots of coils there, big snail what can I say? The rooms a little on the small side, but I’m not complaining.
I’m using an old iPhone 4 again, same one I was loaned last time, and this time I forgot my reading glasses (yeah I use those), so you must forgive my typos.
I’m going to attempt to share some pictures of the hotel, but it’s going to be a little rough to show some that can really explain the experience.

You could actually find some bell-bottoms and do a short movie in the 70s LOL. I usually dream of a place of a similar architecture, with all the houses around the staircase, but it has plants... it's one of the recurrent places and I've not been in (yet) so far that I can recall.

Pretty cool. Seems like a hotel one might see in North Korea. Kind of classic, kind of empty, but really clean.

Really a unique place, good to spend the night in the interperie, it's a joke, but very colorful at least I imagine that you spent a lot of entertaining their eccentricities.
The last picture is intentional to make us feel like a snail and learn to see thing from a snail’s point of view! LOL
