Fedcoin??? What??
As I was listening to news in the background, I was pleasantly or should I say unpleasantly surprised with the news.
Yes, fedcoin is going to be a thing. The timeline is 2023 which probably means they've just now succumb to the idea that crypto is here to stay, and decided to compete, if you will.
I do wonder what the ripple fans are going to say now, since fedcoin will be a direct competitor and backed by the US at that. I can't help but to imagine ripple fading into a memory in the not so near future, but of course I could be wrong.
Truth is that we love to talk about decentralized projects and all, but for the average Joe and Jane that hardly matters.

If Libra moved the market with their announcement, imagine the potential with this going forward as it will clearly legitimize crypto that is truly decentralized!
