I won the Goethe Decouverte Competition

Hi steemians trust we are all doing fine. I'm excited to inform here that I won the Goethe Decouverte Competition and this is what I have to say; I am excited to share that I made it for it for Goethe-Decouverte 2024 for young Cameroonian creatives. As a young person living currently in the Northwest region currently under a forgotten armed conflict, I challenge myself daily to amplify the need for dialogue and peace. My project "Burnt" highlights the challenges of Farmers in Conflict affected areas with the Northwest region as a case study who's yields and productivity is challenged on two fronts; Climate Change and War. it highlights the importance of resilience, determination, hope in the face of adversity and the importance of community in addressing change. I hope to contribute via the work I'll produce through this opportunity given to me by Goethe-Institut Kamerun a theatre production which will not only resonate with the people of Cameroon but touch lives around the world.
