Global advertising platforms, such as Facebook and Google, offer organizers an inefficient model to promote their events. Organizers overpay for advertising, buying thousands of online ads, but tickets for events are purchased by dozens of people. It turns out that with an average cost of advertising Facebook $ 0.32, the organizer has to spend hundreds of dollars on advertising for low returns.

In addition, advertisers face a number of marketing-related problems. According to statistics, 79% of marketers use event marketing as their main sales tool. The main problems are to accurately determine the target audience and to attract the maximum number of participants in the event.

The KICKCITY platform aims to change this situation by developing a decentralized protocol of event marketing and management using smart contracts.

How KICKCITY offers to solve the problem of inefficient online advertising

The platform protocol uses an effective viral marketing model built on the reward of participants to achieve the maximum result. As an economic indicator, the network effect or Reed's law is used, which says that the "usefulness" of large-scale networks grows exponentially with increasing network size.

The system provides a loyalty program and allows participants in a marketing campaign to earn to promote events, as well as to users who purchase tickets. All processes are under the control of the blockchain.

The KICKCITY marketing model contains the structure of peer-to-peer P2P marketing. The reward is distributed according to the result of the participants in the advertising campaign. How the protocol works

The event is registered in the blockchain, forming a marketing pool, and vendors can use tokens for a marketing campaign. Blockchain generates unique event links. Users can independently promote events, distributing unique links within the platform, as well as in social media. Each event contains information and rewards, which encourages participants to invite other users to the event.

All transactions are automatically managed by smart contracts. This guarantees transparency. When there are sales, users promoting the event receive a reward per conversion in the form of KCY tokens.

KCY smart tokens

KCY - tokens of ERC20 standard, based on the Bancor protocol. Tokens are meant for event crowdfunding. They can be used to reserve a marketing campaign, to reward the participants and as payment for events.

Tokens have a continuous liquidity, since all transactions are performed with the help of smart contracts. The main advantages of smart tokens are low volatility due to algorithmic calculation of the cost of blockchain and low commission - only Gas is paid.

ICO and Crowdsdale

The sale of tokens will start on March 1, 2018 and will last until March 31. A total of 250 million KCY will be issued, of which 160 million will be allocated for sale (1 million token will be used for airdrop). Cost of the token: $0,1. Bitcoin and Ethereum are accepted for payment. Hardcap: $12.5 million

The bonus program is provided for investors:

  • 15% - on the first day of sales;
  • 10% - from 2 to 10 days;
  • 5% - from 11 to 20 days.
