Dear friends and brothers, hope all are well. Alhamdulillah I am also fine by the infinite mercy of Allah. Health is a great gift from God. I express my gratitude to him by thanking him for this blessing. Today I came to the Steem For Bangladesh community. Where the engagement contest is being organized. The subject of the contest is SEC-S17W3: "National Festival" From the best of my knowledge on this subject I will try to write inshallah. So let's begin.

What is the national festival of your country? How did it start

Festivals are a joyous affair for the human race. People enjoy it. Spend the day happily during the festival. Festivals are a day when families share joy with friends and neighbors. In these festivals, people's sorrows are relieved and a happy moment is created. Our country is Bangladesh. this Various festivals are celebrated in the country. For example; Like Pahela Baishakh, two Eids, Independence Day, Puja, English Happy New Year etc. I will discuss here about two national Eid festivals of our country.

Not in our country. All the Muslims of the world celebrate these two Eids. As I am a Muslim. So I celebrate both Eids.

Eid-ul-Fitr
The month of Ramadan begins after the month of Saban in the Arabic month. During the month of Ramadan, all Muslims fast and obey the laws given by Allah. If the whole month of Ramadan is completed by obeying the rules given by Allah. This Eid-ul-Fitr celebration starts on the 1st of the following month "Shawal". After a month of hardship comes a day of joyous celebration. We are all in it I enjoy joy in a cheerful way.

Eid-ul-Azha
Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated 2 months and 10 days after the end of Ramadan. Sacrifice is the great source of celebration this Eid. In other words, cows, goats, sheep, goats are slaughtered and eaten by themselves and distributed to the poor. It is difficult to find a person who does not eat gosto on that festival. It is a great day of Allah. On the day rich and poor are all good Eat bad food.

How is this festival celebrated? Are there any special rules for celebrating it?

Every festival is marked by a ritual. This is no exception. For example, Eid-ul-Fitr begins after a whole month of hard work. It is from there that the beginning is organized. At the end of the month, people prepare new clothes and favorite clothes to celebrate Eid. Then on the day of Eid, women wake up early in the morning Sweet food is prepared and the men take a bath and freshen up and prepare to go to the Eid Maidan. Then pray and enjoy with everyone in the field of Eid.

If we talk about Eid-ul-Azha again. Then that day also begins just like the day of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, before Eid, the sacrificial animal has to be bought and prepared. This is a special reason for this Eid. After finishing the prayer in the field of Eid, everyone goes to sacrifice animals. All together perform animal sacrifice and enjoy the moment. and meat Distribution is given to the needy and themselves.

Are there any special outfits or foods for celebrating your national festival?

There is no particular custom to wear such clothes on this particular festival day. Rather, the rule of the Muslim religion is that whether it is new or old clothes, one should wear the preferred clothes. In that case we can see 99% people wear Punjabi Pajama. And I wear exactly the same clothes. So I will not say special clothes. I will say this That this dress is worn by people more.

The special food that we eat is sweet food. I eat semai laccha, sweet pitha etc. on both Eids. Which has been considered as a special food. Although Eid-ul-Azha meat can be said to be special. But basically, on both Eid mornings, I eat some sweet food and go to pray in the Eid field. which Sweets have been selected as the special food of this Eid.

Tell us about your favorite memory from celebrating your national festival.

Speaking of memories, I want to go back to childhood. Because the joy of childhood may never be found again. Maybe there is time. The festival is there, the festival is no more. During our childhood, we used to rejoice that Eid would come even before 10 days. And the times spent on Eid days with childhood friends and childhood siblingsUnforgettable It is never forgotten. Now there is no joy, only the pain of remembering those memories.

But another memory I spent last Eid. It might be something to remember for a lifetime. Even though I spent Eid with my parents, siblings and friends all my life, I celebrated Eid with my new life partner this Eid i.e. Eid-ul-Fitr 2024. It will truly be the memory of my life. Now there are two memories. This is another childhood First celebration of newly married life.

Hello @memamun! We are pleased to read about your celebration of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, which are national holidays in Bangladesh and have profound significance for Muslims around the world. Your description beautifully captures the essence of these joyous occasions, from the anticipation and preparation to the communal prayers and celebratory meals shared with loved ones. Rituals associated with each Eid, such as purchasing sacrificial animals for Eid al-Adha, add depth to the celebration, while the tradition of wearing Punjabi pajamas emphasizes cultural unity among participants. Thank you for sharing these honest thoughts about the Eid spirit in Bangladesh. I'm looking forward to having complete success in this competition!

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for taking the time to post.
This day is a great festival of our Muslim nation. On this day we cherish everyone with love as our own people. The rich and the poor do not all share the same. We help those who are in need irrespective of their religion. And share joy with them like ourselves. Nice to know your opinion. stay well

@memamun vai,,Greetings to this contest,,

We are Bengalis, even though we are a poor country, the citizens of our country celebrate their festival days very grandly. The festival days are really like a flood of happiness across the country. Everyone forgets their own sorrows and spreads the joy of the festival among everyone.

Our country is a predominantly Muslim country. All the citizens of the country spend the two biggest holy festivals of Muslims, i.e. Eid, very happily. In the morning, they eat sweet food and wear new clothes, especially Punjabi pajamas, and attend the Eid congregation. Forgetting their dignity, they pull each other into their chests to cuddle.

Thank you very much for such a beautiful presentation about Eid. I wish you the best in this competition. Stay well.

• Best Regards
@nasir04

Yes exactly dear as you said in this post that he is a God gifted then it is really right if we are healthy then we can be a part of all these festivals and enjoy them like you said Eid al-Fitr. And I am very happy to know about Eid-ul-Azha that you have prioritized the Islamic festival as a national festival and the way it is celebrated and the way we share happiness in it, it is very happy. For Muslims, these are a very special gift and special days, all of which we have been blessed with by the grace of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and we are eagerly waiting for these days to come.

Hello Nasir, Eid-ul-Fitr is a wonderful celebration that follows the month of Ramadan, marking the end of fasting and the beginning of a festive time. It's a day filled with joy, gratitude, and communal gatherings. Families and friends come together to enjoy delicious meals, share gifts, and celebrate their faith.

The significance of Eid-ul-Fitr goes beyond just celebrating the end of fasting; it's also about expressing gratitude for the strength to complete the fast and giving thanks for the blessings received. Your description of these events highlights the spiritual and communal importance of this time for Muslims. Thank u so much 🙏👍
