Litecoin's recent surge

This past week we have watched litecoin surge. I watched it go from $28 to $55.76. I have been searching for why it has made such a big move. Some possible explanations could include the following:

Litecoin was adopted on Coinbase, one of the largest platforms for buying crypto currency. Coinbase is frequently where people buy Bitcoin, the most well known crypto currency. Coinbase adopted Ethereum as it's second crypto currency. Now Coinbase has adopted Litecoin as of May 2017 as its third crypto currency. Steemit is a buzz with Litecoin comments possibly creating greater interest in Litecoin too. People are finally waking up to the fact that blockchain is the safer way to do transactions. Countries are adopting crypo currency as currency too. This new trusted internet money is the future.
