When everyone was busy taking selfies...
I don't remember my parents had any decent cameras when I was growing up. We hardly took any pictures. I never knew how to pose in front of a camera, so much so, I grew up not very keen on taking pictures of myself.
I never really owned a camera, the only one was an Olympus digital camera which I hardly use and is now an outdated white elephant tucked somewhere in a corner at home. I'm sure the Gen Y, Z, Alphas and even some of my fellow X's would raise eyebrows. Yes, the only camera I use now is on the phone, thank goodness for technology, I don't have to carry so many gadgets now.
I knew nothing about photography either, but when your phone comes with a camera, do you use it? Figures. So I take pictures too when I travel, but I didn't want to look like a tourist, you know, the ones who would pose on everything and anything. I take pictures of different things.

Sewage/Drainage/Gas line covers (Taken: Oct 2016, Guangzhou, China)
die Blumen, first sign of spring (Taken: Mar 2017, Nunkirchen, Germany)
the desert (Taken: June 2017, Abu Dhabi, UAE)
Sometimes I take tourist pictures too haha.

I have always been shy on camera, so I prefer to stay behind it. Next time I'll share what I do when I travel.
