To day I went to an Internet cafe, the subject about crypto currency was brought up, and a few South African people had spoken about their broker investing in crypto currency for them, I had asked more about how their broker worked, so they said that they said they went to this talk, bitcoin talk , were there where people offering people the service to invest in bitcoin, and that they could give them a payment in cash at the end of every month if they invested, they told the people that there was a joining fee and that they had to have a minimum of 1500 rands which is around 130 USD maybe abit less, now I’m a person that believes in principle and I couldn’t find the reason why they should have a broker for crypto currency, they didn’t know that they could do it them selfs, so I explained to them and told them that you can hold your own crypto currency, because to me I don’t see a use in a broker unless you trust them, so I gave them this layout of how they can do their simples exchanges and showed them what they where doing, and how they can avoid the broker

Now reasons why they might need a broker:

If they don’t have a laptop or any way of buying crypto
If they don’t know any platforms where to buy or how to sell
Or if the brokers gave them false on how crypto currency works and left out the fact you can do it your self and hold your own crypto

funniest thing I saw a guy spread betting bitcoin, I can’t blame him.. but that one way to lose your money, I told him he could of held his 200 dollars worth of bitcoin and waited for the price to go up but he didn’t know.

But I’m not a financial advisor, I just thought of helping them out because the broker is holding a number of the peoples crypto which they didn’t know they could hold, so if he says ow the prices went down and he lost everything, they can’t do anything but believe him and they loose all their money, they had signed a contract so there is obviously no refunds and the broker can keep the crypto for him self since he is giving them cash.

I might be wrong but I don’t feel you need a broker for crypto, platforms and everything are FREE!!!, I’m going to phone them and see their layout and how they work, I will record the call , and if they bogus and trying to rip people of than I’m going to call them out, I don’t like people that are greedy and think for them selfs and want to benefit from people who work hard for their cash.

A lot of people asked me to help them and I plan to explain what I know and to be transparent, and tell them straight how it works, I’m not gaining anything from this no money or anything but just helping out people so crypto does not have a bad reputation due to misleading people.
