I hope you all are very well stemmians and life shows it's all blessings and beauties for you. Here I'm going to discuss a very crucial issue in our daily life: "How Obesity Affectts our Health? This topic is included in a contest held by @edgargonzalez in healthy steem community.
We are living in an era of world where man becomes too lazy because most of things available on one click at our doors. Work is confined to the screen. Use of machines to perform hard tasks increases vigorously. The use of fast food in this fast world goes on incredibly high. All these factors and many others cause people to become obese.
Obesity can be considered as a disease in itself because it brings a lot of problematic things in life. In 2013, the American Medicinal Association claimed obesity as a disease.
Obesity affects not only our physical health but also our mental health. Obviously, obesity is causing reasons eating habits are on the top. We can take an example of the world's most obese country, Nauru. A little country in which 90% of people are over weight and 60 % obesied. If we check their eating habits, we find out that they mostly eat junk food as a routine meal.
Junk food is only type of food easily available in that country. Junk food cost them very low. They are unable to cultivate their own edible due to phosphorus mining. So only due to unhealthy diet, people of Naure win this race of obesity.
Obesity ruins our physical and mental health equally. It can cause hypertension, heart stroke, diabetes and some types of cancer.
Obesity can really make someone's life hell. Because a person suffering from it mostly does not remain able to do his routine work. It in turn increases his obesity.
Obesity affects our mental health in many ways, like disapproval of society continually increases and causes discomfort in facing people. It also causes depression, which may lead to many bad addictions.
My suggestion for those who are obese are as follow
💛... People with extreme levels of obesity will go far mental and physical consultancy on a regular basis. Without proper guidance, they can never bring down their weight.
💛... People who are just over weight can comparatively in a good situation to control their weight by following an intermittent fasting routine. They only decrease the timing of their eating window and increase the timing of their fasting window in a slow steady way. I also suggest filling up their eating window with salads, boiled veggies and taking some healthy drinks.
💛... To maintain weight, someone must cut down on the sugar level. They also decrease carb intake.
💛... A daily walk is very important to maintain body weight. Ten thousand steps suggested by many health researchers to avoid obesity and any other problem caused by obesity.
Proper walk, exercise and diet planes are the best ways to reduce body weight. Invasive surgeries are quite an unhealthy way to get rid of obesity. Sometimes these prove to be fatal to do such surgeries because unnatural ways are always problematic.
