GORAI BEACH (MUMBAI - MAHARASHTRA)

I have been in Mumbai for last few days and had an incredible time there...
I was staying at my friend's place.
And it's about my second day there...
It all starts with a sudden plan in the morning around 5:30 a.m. I got a call from my friend, saying get up you have 30 minutes to get ready we are going to visit gorai beach. At first, I was like no let me sleep I don't want to go... but they dragged me.

Around 6:15 a.m. we all got settled in the car and started our journey with some soothing morning songs from mira road to gorai. It took us almost 30 minutes.
Way to gorai beach is so beautiful. But if you really want to enjoy it then you must go by bike or scooty. And if you are going on a bike then don't forget to wear your helmets because somewhere in between you will find cops and I don't think that anyone like to get charged. And if you don't want to go by bike or car then another way to reach there is from Borivali. From Borivali reach the Gorai creek, take a boat ride to go across to Gorai island, from there rickshaws are available which will take you to Gorai beach which is about 5 km away.

LITTLE ABOUT GORAI...
Gorai is a town in Dharavi Bhet, the North-western piece of the island of Salsette near Mumbai, India.
It has a large East Indian population. East Indians are Roman Catholic who was proselytized by the Portuguese when they arrived here in the 1500s. They speak Marathi as their mother tongue. Bullock carts are still in use there. There are other attractions on Gorai island like essel world and global vipassana pagoda.

Gorai beach is very peaceful and clean as compared to other beaches. Also, there is tanga(horse carriage) available on the beach. On one side of the beach, there are bungalows with coconut trees.
I adore beaches as I love to hear the music that comes out from the sea. I can watch the waves for long. Their beauty and power is undefined.
And You know what most of the people are not aware of this beach...
