You Gotta Have A Chill Day
Some days you just have to kick back and relax. No rushing about, no plans and definitely no online time.
That's just what myself and the family did today. It was a perfect day of relaxing, adventuring and just building bonds.
We went to the local park (it's massive). The weather was pretty nifty.
That's the big pond in the middle. One of the swans came over and tried to hang with us but we told him he wasn't cool enough and to beat it. Drooling fool
Then we picked up a much cooler dude to hang with. This little tadpole. My daughter squealed so loudly with excitement that all the dogs in the park ran away.
We also saw a leech swimming about. Cool little critters but I couldn't catch that one.
After that we went for a trip in the dappled bluebell wood
Then we debated what to do. My wee lass, like the free spirit she is plonked herself down by the pond again and said she wanted to watch the world go by. I said heck yeah and joined her.
And you know that old saying. When the crow flies over the clock, it's time to go.
So it was ice creams and off home. I feel super recharged and all set for the week ahead!! Hope you all had a great weekend :0)

It's the best park for miles. Has a waterfall and an ancient ravine but we never made it that far today. Hope you continue to have a good one!!

I hope that tadpole goes home and tells his friends and family that he was held by an online celebrity. I bet all the other pollywogs would be hella jealous. HELLA jealous.
As another old saying goes, A weekend without any tantrums is a fun, fist-pumping-against-the-clouds-while-cursing-the wind-free weekend. At least, that's how I translated it. I might be wrong though. I might be wrong.

Hehe, he will probably go home to the other talks and alert the tadpole police that he was actually bodily lifted out of the water!! I better watch my step next time I go for a swim!!
