Smokey Murky Beers!
Hola my little salty pistachios!!
This week we are going to get stuck into some extraordinary beers. How extraordinary do I mean?
How does smokey sound? How does murky sound? I am so very intrigued. The can designs are superb, one of course is from my favourite, the skull obsessed brewery: Beavertown. The other is fair impressive too, a new brewery to me Alechemy Brewery.
They sound awesome and I am full of the bonkers, so let's go!
So this mad badger of a beer claims to be smokey and full of hops. Oh and of course rye!
Let's see how it pours.
Oh aye, look at that reddish brown hazy little saucepot. It looks quite magnificent. In fact this one looks murky!
It's good but as video man above says, I can't really get any smoke. Lots of bitter hops and the rye shines through pleasantly also. A pleasing afterburn on the throat but definitely, definitely no smoke.
Still, I enjoyed it. 7.5/10 booms!
Which means we have the Town of Beaver. What have they got for us?
Oh I do like the imagination behind the designs and the names. They most often have great beers but are more than capable of a dud. This is a collaboration with another brewery so let's see how it goes!
It looks good. A hazy gold, not murky as suggested. A very happy golden colour!
As ever though the proof is not in the pudding but in the tasting!
What does video man say?
We love you video man!! I also completely agree with him. It is strong and predominantly wheaty. Being an IPA of course it is slightly bitter with herby notes and a lingering aftertaste.
I like it but it doesn't hit amazeballs territory. 8/10 booms!
Well that is some happy beer'ing. I am off to have some more before going next door and smashing up my neighbours house.

Leave one in the fridge as well. Just wrap it up in foil first. Those are always nice surprises for neighbors.
Oh that's a good idea. If I wrap it up the might think it is pate? It's probably quite hard to tell the difference!
Just write "Snack" on the foil. That will clear up the confusion.
I should write that down snack... It has a nice ring to it. Heck, it makes me feel quite peckish. I must try my hardest to remember not to have a taste myself once I see it sitting there all nice and labelled snack
Recycled snacks like that are good for the environment.
I am partial to the rye beer! I'll take a couple of those to go...perhaps not. I may want to stick around and enjoy the festivities at the neighbour's house...I may get ideas though.
The Rye was rather good, if only it had that smoke it claimed! I could have had lots more!

Chin chin to you my friend. Both of those beers look absolutely fantastic. I can see the sweat on the glass so I can tell you have them icy cold. I have had no shortage of beers this week. I've had a mini at home vacation here with family visiting. Dedicated my time to fishing, swimming and beers. Not necessarily in that order. lol. I even stayed away from Steemit for a whole week. It was a strange feeling. But now its time to get back into it with a vengeance and nothing will help fuel the fire like a good beer to assist the creative juices.
That sounds like a flipping magic week. Will we get to hear about it? I hope so!

So @meesterboom my favourite beer is Heineken and I can gulp at leave 6 bottles without bathing an eye lid and I'll still drive home easily.who can beat this record?
