I have already grand or blended my cocoyam and also put it inside my cooking pot.

Steps or process of preparing my oha delicious soup

Step 1

The first step I took was to boil and grand my cocoyam with a mortar. I first of all boiled and removed the back of the cocoyam and grand it with my mortar

Step 2

When I am done granding my cassava into a smooth paste, I put it inside the pot and start my cooking.

Step 3:

After putting the granded cocoyam inside the pot, I place it on top of my cooking gas and leave it to simmer for some minutes

Step 4

Once it has simmered for some minutes, I add my crayfish, stockfish, and my already cooked meat and cover to cook for some minutes.

Step 5

I add my other ingredients, including maggi cubes, salt, pepper, ogiri. Stir it in others to mix everything together. Cover and allow it to simmer again for some minutes

Step7

Than lastly, I stir everything together, bring down my soup from the fire, and leave it to cool slightly. While waiting for my soup to cool, I boil some water, which I will use in making gari. After making the gari with hot water, I turn it with our turning stick and leave it to cool.

After then I served, then served the food, my delicious oha soup with gari

In conclusion, oha soup is a delicious soup when cooked well with good and quality ingredients.

Like I said before, it is one of the Nigerian local and traditional soups and has a lot of nutritional value.

Oha soup is also a well-balanced dish that contributes greatly to the overall health and well-being of our body system.

It gives energy, and also the vitamin C in the oha leaves helps to support and boost the immune system and also protect our body system against infection.
