it's been a long time since my last post. Today I share with you again a part of me and my first speedpaint. It was interesting to record the process of a drawing, it has always been very relaxing to see every line in movement, it's almost a fetish for me.

ha pasado mucho tiempo desde mi ultimo post. Hoy vuelvo a compartirles una parte de mi y mi primer speedpaint. Fue interesante grabar el proceso de un dibujo, siempre me ha resultado muy relajante ver cada trazo en movimiento, es casi un fetiche para mi.
A few days ago i wanted to make a bookmark with my handmade paper, i let my imagination run wild... i decided that i wanted to draw butterflies,i started looking for butterfly references with all the naivety of the world believing that i would really make one in particular.
MY CRUDE REALITY: is that i don't usually draw for references, i can only use them maybe for inspiration, motivation or to know the anatomy of what i want to draw but never to try to reproduce exactly what i see, for a moment i forgot all that, i started to get frustrated and i blocked myself completely. Definitely that common method of drawing what you see around you or in photos, is not my thing.
IN CONCLUSION:I never executed the initial plan, i got so excited while doing my sketch that i forgot it and kept drawing in my sketchbook.
Hace unos días tenía unas ganas de usar mi papel artesanal y hacer un marcalibros, dejé volar mi imaginación... Decidí que quería dibujar mariposas, comencé a buscar referencias de mariposas con toda la ingenuidad del mundo creyendo que realmente haría alguna en particular.
MI CRUDA REALIDAD: es que no suelo dibujar por referencias, sólo puedo usarlas tal vez para inspiración, motivación o conocer la anatomía de lo que deseo dibujar pero nunca para intentar reproducir exactamente lo que veo, por un momento se me olvidó todo eso, me empecé a frustrar y me bloqueé por completo. Definitivamente ese método común de dibujar lo que ves a tu alrededor o en fotos, no es lo mío.
EN CONCLUSIÓN:Nunca ejecuté el plan inicial, me emocioné tanto mientras hacía mi boceto que se me olvidó y seguí dibujando en mi libro.

I decided to forget about the references that blocked my imagination and decided to use my characteristic method: Intuition, yes, that's right... When i let myself be carried away by the energy, by what i feel, everything flows better, it's as if all the doors of the imagination open completely, ideas flow, strokes flow, colors flow... everything flows like the river and even with whirlpools, that's why i get a little out of control and i don't leave any space without drawing haha.
Decidí olvidarme de las referencias que me bloquearon mi imaginación y decidí usar mi método característico: La intuición, sí, así es... Cuando me dejo llevar por la energía, por lo que siento, todo fluye mejor, es como si todas las puertas de la imaginación se abren por completo, las ideas fluyen, los trazos fluyen, los colores fluyen...todo fluye como el agua de un río y hasta con remolinos, por eso me descontrolo un poco demasiado y no dejo ningún espacio sin dibujar jajaja.

So i took my pencil and started drawing my butterflies, then i added some flowers, leaves and a thousand and one small details because I'm a bit obsessive about the lines. With an ultra-fine black marker i started to outline the whole sketch. With a black pen i made the smallest details.
Así que tomé mi lápiz y comencé a trazar mis mariposas, luego agregué algunas flores, hojas y mil y un detalles pequeños porque soy algo obsesiva con los trazos. Con un marcador ultrafino de color negro comencé a delinear todo el boceto. Con un bolígrafo negro hice los detalles más pequeños.

At this point i stopped to think about what techniques or materials to use; it was supposed to be a sketch so i needed a technique that would allow me to quickly test the colors. I decided to use markers, i have never used this material as a main technique but this time i wanted to do it and i was surprised.
En este momento me detuve a pensar qué técnicas o materiales utilizar; se supone que era un boceto así que necesitaba una técnica que me permitiera probar rápidamente los colores. Decidí utilizar marcadores, nunca he utilizado este material como técnica principal pero en esta ocasión quise hacerlo y quedé sorprendida.
I started to create a gradient for the flower petals with a special blender, in this case i used the Prismacolor brand, i love this colorless alcohol based marker because it allows you to play with the ink...
Comencé a crear un degradé para los pétalos de las flores con un mezclador especial para marcadores, en este caso use la marca Prismacolor, me encantan estos marcadores incoloros a base de alcohol pues te permiten jugar con la tinta...
Then i got carried away and continued to color everything with very contrasting shades, sometimes i used some Faber-castell and Stabilo markers for small details and colored pen.
Luego me dejé llevar y seguí coloreando todo con tonos muy contrastantes, en ocasiones use algunos marcadores Faber-castell y Stabilo para detalles pequeños y bolígrafo de color.

When i finished coloring my surreal garden, i obviously wanted to add more details to the background, using some pastel chalk and finally with an ultra-fine black marker i started with my improvised scribbles, this part i really enjoyed.
Cuando terminé de colorear mi jardín surrealista, obviamente quise agregar más detalles al fondo, usando algunas tizas pastel y finalmente con un marcador ultrafino de color negro comencé con mis garabatos improvisados, ésta parte realmente la disfruto mucho.
Speedpaint
Documenting my drawing process was always difficult, i never did it because my larger drawings take me many hours to finish because of the amount of detail etc, so it makes me very anxious to think about it, but this time i took advantage of the occasion, it was only a very small drawing and i thought it would be interesting to try it. Also i confess that i loved using artistic markers as a main technique, i was fascinated by the intensity and saturation of these, i fell in love. Here i share with you the complete and extended creative process of my little surrealist garden, i hope you enjoy it.
Documentar mi proceso de dibujo siempre fue algo difícil, nunca lo hacía ya que mis dibujos más grandes me toma muchas horas terminarlos por la cantidad de detalles etc, así que me da mucha ansiedad pensar en eso, pero esta vez aproveché la ocasión, sólo era un dibujo muy pequeño y me pareció interesante intentarlo. Además confieso que me encantó usar marcadores artísticos como técnica principal, me fascinó la intensidad y saturación de estos, me enamoré. Aquí les comparto el proceso creativo completo y extendido de mi pequeño jardín surrealista, espero lo disfruten. 😋
I admit that i have a strange fetish for this kind of videos and the asmr ones, they are extremely relaxing and i am addicted to that tingling in my brain.
Admito que tengo un extraño fetiche por esta clase de vídeos y los de asmr, son extremadamente relajantes y soy adicta a ese hormigueo en mi cerebro.

Something I love about drawing intuitively is that you never know how the final result will be, sometimes it surprises the strange things that are formed, in fact you can discover things inside you that you did not even know, your drawing becomes a kind of arcane, an oracle, your own tarot card.
Algo que amo de dibujar intuitivamente es que nunca sabes cómo será el resultado final, a veces sorprende las cosas tan extrañas que se forman, de hecho puedes descubrir cosas en tu interior que ni sabías, tu dibujo se convierte en una especie de arcano, un oráculo , en tu propia carta de tarot.
