This is America - Racism Caught on Camera

Lets take a look at a movement in social media involving racism in America. Why did this all of a sudden blow up this year? Are people all of a sudden aware that they have the power to fight back on social media? Did people always act this way or are the stresses of everyday life making people explode in unreasonable ways. Was it a fallout from the Metoo movement? Some I can see are clearly racist but others can argue that the person would have done the same regardless to who was on the receiving end of their argument. Personally; I don't understand how people continued this behavior when others before them have been social media villains and ultimately defamed for their actions.
