It is difficult to gauge the factors affecting the price of Steem when there are no major events.
Can anyone explain some of those factors or where I can look for those factors?

The power down is discouraging, but i know the more thr power down the more the market reacts.
I relay enjoy the social network of steemit and i have almost stooped using Facebook
BUT
As a concurrency investment it is the WORST I have ever done - in the last 3 month STEEM is about 75% down
I wonder if STEEM will ever get back to the 0.001BTC level of few month ago or it will continue going down and down ....like it is doing for the last year or so
In terms of BTC
looking at the chat I can see steem was 0.007BTC a bit more than a year ago - Today's STEEM price is 0.000264BTC => -97.2% down!!!
Only in the last 3 month from Jul 6th STEEM is down 75% in terms of BTC.
...can it get any worse?
...I guess it can ...lol
