More Features to Wordpress Steemit Plugin - GK Steemit Info 0.3.0

In the quest to further bring steemit closer to the wordpress community, I had another round of new functionalities added to my GK Steemit Info plugin.
I am quite excited how the plugin is progressing, I am just hopeful it will get the proper attention and lead to further steemit adoption.

Quick Recap

We have started the work on GK Steemit info several weeks back, with the aim to bring the wordpress community a plugin that allows more promotion and visibility to steemit.
So far, the plugin allowed adding 2 types of widgets/shortcodes onto any wordpress site; Steemit User Posts that displays a specific user's steemit posts as either a side widget, or within the body of a wordpress post with a ton of filtering criteria and allowing multiple displays on a single screen.
The other, Steemit Info allowed displaying steemit total user count with a link to steemit, as a promotional approach. FYI we crossed 700k users on steemit :)

New Development Work

In this new update, version 0.3.0, we added the following functionalities:

• Created new widget/shortcode for steemit user information, including name, image, SP, STEEM, SBD, VP, Reputation,... with backend selection of which user to display info for. Multiple widgets are supported for multiple users. The widget is entitled Steemit User Info and a sample of its display can be seen below
  
  
  
  Also this same information can be displayed via a shortcode under the following format:
  [steemit_user_info username=USERNAME]
• Modified existing Steemit info widget to include new information, including STEEM and SBD current supply, but also more importantly pulling current STEEM and SBD USD pricing from coinmarketcap, and displaying them dynamically along with 1 hour change indicator, as well as currency ranking data. Check out screenshot below for the new changes.
  
  
  
• General adjustments to the code of the plugin, with some minor bug fixes and better approach of dealing with font awesome.

Downloading the plugin

The plugin is available on the official GitHub repository. The most recent commits are commit 1 and commit 2

Feel free to check out the new version. I do have a lot of further plans in the pipeline for the plugin, some are already in the works, yet I'm more than happy to get your feedback, questions, and/or suggestions to further improve it :)
