GK Steemit Info Wordpress Plugin: Documentation Updates

Intro

After several few updates to our Steemit Wordpress Plugin GK Steemit Info, we have made an update to the documentation of the plugin to further reflect the work that has been done recently. In specifics, this included the additional widgets that have been added to allow display of Steemit User Info as well as Steemit Trending Posts, but also improvements that have been made to the existing widgets in terms of additional information display, integrating with CoinMarketCap.com's API, and display/formatting improvements.

The plugin serves as means to allow wordpress sites to embed steemit related information and posts via widgets and/or shortcodes. This is accomplished via connecting to the steemjs API and pulling the needed info, as well as coinmarketcap for pricing info. The growth potential for this plugin is limitless and there are tons of functionalities in the works. The plugin aims to serve as great promotional tool for steemit as well as leading to a large adoption of wordpress users and/or website visitors to join and use steemit.

Documentation Updates

As highlighted in the into, with releases 0.3.0 and 0.4.0 there were several new features and adjustments to existing functionalities, as follows:

• Adding documentation of the new Steemit User Info Widget (and shortcode) and filtering options
• Adding documentation of the new Steemit Trending Posts Widget (and shortcode) and filtering options
• Updating existing screenshots and documentation of the Steemit Info widget due to new functionality added and the coinmarketcap integration.
• Updating existing screenshots and documentation of the Steemit User Posts widget due to layout enhancements
