What is Zethyr Finance?

Decentralized finance has been a game-changer in the financial sector it has eliminated the need for centralized third party users to have autonomy over a users financial portfolio, this means with the inception of the decentralized system I can oversee all financial-related activities, such as participating in an investment, completing various kinds of transactions on different exchange and overall take control of all my asset without the interference of middlemen or third parties.

Zethyr Finance is a decentralized finance application based on the TRON blockchain it's can be considered as a financial tool that can be used by various investors/traders to increase their assets worth by lending/borrowing assets which are based on tron blockchain the platform enables the use of TRC20 based token for performing a task on the platform. Examples of TRC20 tokens include TRX, BTT, and USDT these tokens can be used for providing liquidity on the platform pool, use for lending/borrowing.

The platform also allows, users, to have access to collateral for a user to be eligible for such an offer they must provide or deposit a certain amount of token on the platform, this deposited asset will enable investors to have access to the platform collateral service.

Zethyr Finance has its platform native token Ztoken which are pegged 1: 1 with the value of underlying deposited tokens on the platform they are minted upon deposit and burned when withdrawn or redeemed from the platform.

Market

On the Zethyr Finance platform from the top right corner, the market feature is a tool on the platform that allows the users to have access to important information on the total number of transactions conducted on the platform base on supply and borrow of assets.

The supply section shows the number of assets that have been supplied by traders/investors, TRX on the list has the highest supply rate with 86.5% followed by BTT with 10.39%

The borrow section also shows the total number of assets value investors/traders borrowed on the platform TRX with 99.75% has the highest rate in borrowed assets.

The market section, in general, gives general info on total transactions conducted on the platform base on total supply, supply APY, total borrowed, and flash liquidity.

ZTokens

---

This section educates a user on the importance of holding Zethyr Finance native token ZTokens the token enables users to enjoy maximum benefit such as having access to borrow other TRC20 tokens on the platform the higher the number of ZTokens on holds will determine the chance of getting collateral on the platform.

It can also be used for accumulating interest over time it's can also be used to represent the value of one asset worth the platform.

Swap

For a user to perform any task on the swap section they will first need to connect their wallet with Zephyr Finance platform with will enable such users to perform special activities like swapping different TRC20 base tokens there are fees charges for completing transactions on the swap section.

Below is a typical screenshot of a swapping section offering options for two tokens a user can fill in the token of choice they want to swap on the platform once they reach their token choice they can hit the swap box to receive the token of choice based on their conducted orders.

Stable

This section also requires a user to connect their wallets, it enables users to perform TRC20-ERC20 cross-chain transactions it works the same as the swapping feature section the only difference here is the stable section only allow ERC20 and TRC20 USDT swapping.

The blog section is where users get the latest updates on important information, announcements and learn new basic tutorials about the Zethyr Finance platform.

What's your understanding about DEX Aggregator?

DEX aggregator is an important feature in decentralized exchange it's a tool that allows crypto traders to connect to different decentralized exchanges from a single interface.

The screenshot below shows an example of a DEX aggregator as seen below at least 3 different decentralized exchanges are connected to the Zethyr exchange platform.

A trader can perform transactions such as swapping tokens with any of the above exchanges directly from the Zethyr exchange interface.

DEX aggregators are used to source liquidity from different decentralized exchanges to allow traders to compare different liquidity rates from these different exchanges to get the best rate for swapping a token.

As mentioned above the market section gives a recap of the overall transactions conducted on the Zethyr Finance platform.

With the screenshot below I've highlighted based on my observations tokens with a good supply/borrow APY and profitability.

Note base on supply from the market section TRX has the highest supply with $539,165.39 this shows investors/traders make supply transactions in TRX more than any other token it can also be observed that TRX has 4.55%APR which is low compared to other tokens.

Hence, investors aiming for high supply profit will go for alternative tokens in the market.

On the borrow section, TRX also has a considerable high transaction with $23,779.71 volume in total borrow transaction with 10% APR.

Box A

---

Investors/traders who supply USDT as a lending asset on the Zethyr Finance platform will have a 26.15% APR which is very good compared TRX token on the market list also USDT being a stable coin comes with an additional advantage against market liquidity

Box B

WIN token on box B has an APR with 23% on the borrow section although considering the APR investors would not prefer to go for a token with high APR on borrow section, since they will be paying back with high APR, therefore, USDT with 8% APR on borrow section will be best for traders/investors.

It can be observed on the market section USDT being a stable coin has a good supply market APR that will generate over 26% APR when traders lend out their token and also playback of 8% APR when they borrow from the platform.

This shows that in terms of profitability USDT is a good option to choose from the market section.

Connecting to the Zethyr Finance platform will require a user to install a TronLink wallet which I already have on my mobile device.

• Step 1: From my TronLink wallet I will navigate the discover box and click on it.

• Step 2: from the discover section which will redirect me to where I can have access to multiple Dapps, I will search for Zethyr Finance from the search section.

• Step 3: by clicking on the Zethyr Finance I will be redirected to the Zethyr Finance platform which will automatically connect my TronLink wallet with Zethyr Finance platform.

Below is an overview of my current wallet with zero supply and borrow asset balance.

Give a detailed understanding of Ztoken and research a token of another project that serves the same purpose as it.

Ztoken is a native token used on Zethyr protocol it is pegged 1:1 with other tokens that are deposited on Zethyr protocol for instance we have TRC20 TRX on Zethyr protocol the TRX will be represented as zTRX this shows the TRX is pegged with the value of Ztoken other tokens like WIN, BTT and, USDT can be represented as zWIN, zBTT and, zUSDT.

In addition by holding/lending Ztoken on Zethyr protocol a user can earn interest, on depositing USDT a user earns zUSDT from the lending pool.

The Ztoken can be traded, freely stored and, transferred to other users, it is minded upon deposit for example by depositing 10 TRX on Zethyr protocol you will have an equivalent value of 10 zTRX also be withdrawing your deposited 10 zTRX it will be burned automatically and converted to 10 TRX on a users wallet.

This shows that the total supply of Ztoken on the Zethyr protocol will be determined by several total assets deposited on the platform.

Perform a real Supply transaction on Zethyr Finance using a preferable market. Show it step by step (Screenshots required). Show the fees incurred.

In other to supply/lend assets on the Zethyr Finance platform, I need to have an equivalent balance of either TRX, BTT, WIN and, USDT.

I will be using BTT as my preference token to make supply/lend on the Zethyr Finance.

• Step 1: From my TronLink wallet I will access the Zethyr Finance homepage by clicking on My portfolio a display of assets that can be supply on Zethyr Finance platform will be presented as shown below.

• Step 2: By clicking on BTT I will be prompted with an option to enable BTT supply on the Zethyr Finance platform which I did by clicking on enable.

• Step 3: below shows I supplied 400 BTT on the supply pool I will click on supply to confirm my transaction.

• Step 4: I will complete the transaction by confirming my transaction.

The incurred fee for completing the above transaction was based on bandwidth as seen from the screenshot below #355 bandwidth was used for the transaction which is estimated to 20 TRX.

Collateralizing my asset

• Step 1: From my portfolio list a list of my supply/lend asset is displayed with BTT on the list I will click on the box below.

• Step 2: is to enable BTT as my collateral by clicking on the red box below.

• Step 3: I will be confirming to complete the transaction.

Borrow on Zethyr Finance

To borrow assets on Zethyr Finance platform a user needs to first supply/lend out assets that will serve as collateral, also a user can only borrow half of the supplied assets.

• Step 1: From the borrow section I will click on TRX as the asset I will be borrowing.

• Step 2: Click on enable to compete for my transaction.

• Step 3: Click on confirm to enable the transaction.

• Step 4: Below is the maximum TRX I can borrow on the borrow section by clicking on safe max, I will also confirm to compete for the transaction.

Repay the borrowed asset and withdraw your supply

• Step 1: From the borrow section I will click on the borrowed TRX and click on Repay

• Step 2: Click on Safe max, this will show the total number of TRX I will be paying back then click on supply to complete the transaction.

• Step 3: Click on confirm to proceed with the completion of the transaction.

Withdrawing my supply asset

• Step 1: From the supply section I will click on BTT which was my initial supply asset, and locate the withdrawal box.

• Step 2: Click on max to withdraw all my supplied BTT. Below shows 400 BTT which I have supplied earlier by clicking on withdrawing the asset will be transferred to my wallet balance.

• Step 3: click on confirm to complete the transaction.

Zethyr protocol offers both traders and investors maximum opportunity to take advantage of the crypto space, the exchange feature is a great tool that can be leveraged by traders to easily make swapping of various TRC20 based tokens, swapping of ERC20 based USDT on the platform is also a good means of exchange stable coins.

Overall the exchange features are an amazing tool that can be used by different users just by connecting TronLink wallet without undergoing KYC and other rigorous registration process one can complete the transaction.

DEX aggregator is also a good feature that can be used by traders to compare swapping liquidity rate with price of token from different exchange platform with the help of Zethyr protocol this is made possible as traders can have access to different exchanges directly from Zethyr exchange platform.

The Zethyr protocol financial tool is also a very good feature for investors to earn, what I like about this financial tool is how users can borrow assets based on their collateral, a good investor can take advantage of this tool to increase their earnings by using the borrowed asset to trade or buy coins when there is a market dip.

Limitation

The only shortcomings of the Zethyr protocol are the fee incurred on transactions an average investor could burn approximately 100 TRX or more before they can complete supply/lend, collateral, borrow, and, withdrawal.

In essence Zethyr protocol is a good investment platform for traders/investors its very transparent with all transactions details publicly accessible for public view this will be used to increase users' trust and confidence.

Conclusion

Decentralized finance protocols have made it easy for users to easily generate passive income from different investment tools Zethyr protocol is a typical example where users can earn from lending out their assets and also borrow with payback interest incurred, swapping TRC20 tokens have also been made easy with just a few clicks away a user can swap token of choice.
