Grasshopper - Mother And Child (Macro Photography)

A few days ago while helping a friend to harvest his maize, I stumbled upon these insects. Two grasshoppers - mother and child. The mother was caring her baby at her back as the baby enjoys its moment.

I was astonished to see how caring the mother was as she backs her baby, protecting her because she knows the baby is small and vulnerable.

The mother will continue to do this until her baby is old enough to be independent.
