THE DIARY GAME: MY LAST HOUSE CHORE IN 2021 | JANUARY 9, 2022 | ALL4ONE (100% REWARD TO STEEMALIVE)
Greetings my fellow relentless Steemians. I believe you are doing well and you are keeping it alive in this great community, @steemalive. I will share my last general compound cleaning in 2921 today. I hope you enjoy the reading.
INTRODUCTION
It is believed that one has to tidy up everywhere thoroughly at the end of every year before the dawn of the incoming year. Well, I spent my last days of 2021 with my in-law in Amansea, Anambra State and it was all fun with them, although lots of works were done in anticipation of year 2022.
BEFORE THE CLEAN UP
According to calendar, January 1, 2022 was a Saturday and thus, Friday being the last day of 2021 was used for the final segment of the compound clean.
In the morning of that day, we had family devotion of at about 6:00 am which lasted for 40 minutes. After the devotion ended, breakfast was prepared and shared because my sister doesn't want anyone to begin the tedious work that awaits us in empty stomaches. we ate fried plantain and pap for breakfast that morning.
THE CLEAN UP PROPER
After breakfast, the work was shared and I was asked to level the former dumping ground in the compound to excavate all nonbiodegradables hidden in the earth. I went into the work ASAP using a digger. After an hour later, I completed the work.
THE GATHERING AND BURNING OF DEBRIS
After levelling and excavating the nonbiodegradables in the earth, I allowed them till evening to dry before u gather them to burn. When it was 5:30 pm, I gathered all the dirt and heaped them on the already heaped dry plantain leaves that will be burnt. I lit the heaped dirt with a lighter to set them ablaze. I watched everything turn to ashes and it was quite a fulfilling moment.
CONCLUSION
There's always a great joy in your when you look around your residence and see it glittering like crystals. Getting the compound very tidy was a stressful yet a fulfilling exercise. Thank you for your time.I appreciate you, @kingreechy for your inspiration so far. God bless you.
