Merlion is a symbol of Singapore. The statue is made by the sculptor Linan and his two children. Every year, more than 1 million tourists from all over the world make a special trip to see Merlion Park and take pictures with the world famous Merlion. The structure is 8 meters tall and the lion spouts water into the Singapore River.
