No, it is an upvote and resteem service, it is quite new so it is very cheap. You don't need to do anything, you will get a comment when it kicks in. I haven't got my head around upvote bots yet, my other half has been helping me. But he recommended this article he found if you do want to try and get to grips with it

@thundercurator is a bit simpler to use, and resteems the post, but then some of the upvote bots can push a post onto the trending page where even more people can see it. You don't have to use them at all though, I have only recently started doing so it isn't necessary at all :)
