The Crystal Sanctuary - Wat Tha Sung 🇹🇭 วัดจันทาราม (วัดท่าซุง)

Hello, Steemian friends! Today I want to tell you about Thai culture and show you a very beautiful temple in Thailand that I visited one week ago. :)

I went to visited my aunt and she took me to Chantharam Temple (Wat Tha Sung). It is a very beautiful temple in Uthai Thani and many Thai people they like to go to visit it. I was very excited to go there too!! ;)

Chantharam Temple there is also called the Crystals Sanctuary. Amazingly beautiful, it was built in February 1987 - March 1989 by Prasuthamyanathara. Inside the sanctuary there is the corpse of Praluesilingdum, the monk who built the Crystal Sanctuary.

So many Thai people come to visit here everyday, there are at 2 times in a day when you can visit: 09:00-11:45 and 14:00-16:00. Inside there is a sanctuary made from mosaic that looks like crystals - glittering, charming and very beautiful.

Most of Thai peoples are Buddhists, and so am I! The past of Thai culture is strictly connected with Buddhism, this is what we respect and what we believe in. I went to the temple to worship Praphuttachinarat who was a very important Buddha. I was humbly meditating, then chanting for a moment, it felt great. Next, I wanted to donate money and make merit, I went to worship to Praluesilingdum just like most people who visit the temple, paying respect to the monk. It is important for Thai people around this to make merit, before the monk died he did so many good things for the people, he used to teach people by the way of Buddha and built the temple for them to celebrate the rituals, to cherish the past of Thai culture.

This is only a small part of my experience, tomorrow I will come back and tell you more about Thai culture.

วัดจันทาราม (วัดท่าซุง)

สวัสดีค่ะ Steemians! หลายวันก่อนได้ไปเยี่ยมชมวัดจัททาราม (วัดท่าซุง) จังหวัดอุทัยธานี อาของเราเล่าให้ฟังว่าวัดนี้สวยงามอย่างนั้นอย่างนี้ เมื่อได้ฟังดังนั้นก็ตื่นเต้นดีใจที่จะได้ไปชมวัดชื่อดังที่ชาวบ้านที่นี่นับถือกันค่ะ ;)
วัดจันทาราม หรือที่ชาวบ้านเรียกกันว่าวัดท่าซุงเป็นวัดที่มีเนื้อที่กว้างใหญ่ มีวิหารแก้วที่สวยงาม ถูกสร้างขึ้นเมื่อ เดือนกุมภาพันธุ์ พ.ศ.2530 แล้วเสร็จ เดือนมีนาคม พ.ศ. 2532 ภายในวิหารแก้วมีโลงแก้วเก็บร่างของ พระมหา วีระ ถาวโร หรือที่ชาวบ้านเรียกกันว่า หลวงพ่อฤาษีลิงดำ ที่ได้มรณะภาพแล้ว และพระพุทธชินราชจำลององค์ใหญ่ ให้ชาวบ้านได้เข้าไปกราบสักการะบูชา ภายในวิหารแก้วตกแต่งด้วยโมเสค เนื้องานปราณีต ส่งแสงระยิบระยับ แพรวพราวสวยงามตระการตา สร้างความประทับใจให้แก่ผู้มากราบสักการะและเยี่ยมชมวิหารแก้ว หลวงพ่อฤาษีลิงดำท่านเป็นพระที่ชาวบ้านทุกคนในระแวกนั้นนับถือและเลื่อมใสเป็นอย่างมาก ท่านได้สร้างคุณงามความดีหลายประการ พร้อมน้อมนำพระพุทธศาสนามาสอนให้คนไทยได้ตระหนักถึงพระพุทธศาสนาและวัฒนะธรรมไทย ที่วัดจะใช้ประกอบพิธีกรรมต่างๆเพื่อให้คนไทยชาวพุทธได้ไปร่วมเฉลิมฉลองงานในพิธีงานบุญร่วมกัน เราเป็นชาวพุทธไปทำบุญก็ไม่ลืมบริจาคตามกำลังศรัทธาเพื่อบำรุงวัด และเข้าไปกราบสักการะบูชาพระพุทธชินราชและหลวงพ่อฤาษีลิงดำ ขอพรเพื่อเป็นสิริมงคลให้กับตัวเอง นี่เป็นเพียงแค่ส่วนหนึ่งเท่านั้น พรุ่งนี้ยังมีเรื่องรางของทริปนี้มาให้ติดตามอีกค่ะ ฝากติดตามด้วยนะคะ ;)
