Hello, Namaste, Hola steemians , today I am going to write about a burning issue of the world - Global Warming.

Global warming is the hottest environmental issue of today's world. The world is suffering from the disease, which is created by the human itself. This type of disease is so dangerous that, not a single country of the world could get rid of it.

Causes

Men itself are the root cause of the problem. From the beginning of civilization the mother Earth had been harmed by its action.

When people lived in nature, in order to protect themselves from the other tribes or wild animals and as well as wind or rain they built tools with wood, this was the first contribution of them to degrade the environment.

In modern days the core cause of global warming are the rapid industrial development, increase use of transport and communication, deforestation and population explosion.

The excessive use of natural resources by the developed countries by establishing industries to compete with other countries and the excessive use of natural resources by developing as well as under develop nation for its existence are the main reason for global warming.

The science behind it

The surface temperature of the earth increases due to existence of the greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, clorofloro carbon, methane etc.
Due to the existence of such gases a blanket is formed around the atmosphere which traps the sunlight and does not let it escape which keeps increasing the temperature of the earth.

Various scientific study show that the temperature increase is very real.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate report(IPCC) in 2013 revealed that human activity is the root cause of climate change. It shows that the global temperature is likely to rise as further 0.3 to 1.7°C.

Impact

The world empact of climate change is varies from region to region. It might effect the sea area by raising it's level first. It also expand the desertification process and also effect equatorial region as well as tropical islands and the Arctic zone.

On the other hand the likely change are extreme weather events, heat waves, drought, heavy rain fall with floods etc are the biggest thing that will work out with with it.

The extinction of various species and rebirth of the another will be the frequent phenomenon in near future.
It effects human directly by decreasing crop production by creating drought, flood, skin diseases etc.

Prevention

Prevention is better than cure.

This proverb sparked a deep thought in my mind. Prevention is always better than cure. In the case of global warming prevention of it will be the prevention of the primature death of our world.

Following are the points which I think will help prevent this problem.

1. We should all unite together to help plant trees and prevent the problem of global warming
2. We should use organic manures in place of chemical fertilizers
3. you should avoid chemical pesticides in plants as these are harmful for us
4. We should minimise the burning of fossil fuels by saving electricity by walking or cycling for short distances and using public transportation
5. We should aim for sustainable development by proper planning and utmost utilisation of resources
6. Reuse reduce and recycle. We should leave by this motto and recycle as much as possible
7. Providing proper education and awareness to the people about this problem can help to minimise the emission of greenhouse gases which in turn minimises the risk of global warming

As a teacher I always try to educate my students about the various problems faced by the world and how we can help to solve it.
We should try to walk hand in hand in order that our future generations get to experience the beauty of this world as we have not inherited this word from our forefathers but have borrowed it from my future generations.
