My First Digital Drawing With AutoDesk Sketchbook

For the past few weeks, I have been going through some digital works and videos done by other artists. I have also been studying the basics of AutoDesk sketchbook but I have not actually tried or make a good work. Some days ago, I made two trials to create an imaginative portrait but failed woefully. I kept studying with the little time I had, anyway.

Today, I decided to try out one again. A Portrait with no reference using pen tools - blue ink precisely.

There are several pen and brushes at disposal which you can change their colors or tones. I opted for my favorite medium and color which are pen and blue.

The pen I used are technical pen, copied fine nib, ballpoint pen and inking pen. I changed the color range a bit. I started with sky blue. Then I switched to mid blue. Then to deep blue which gave rise to darker tones.
See the variations in my steps below:

I believe this was just an experiment in order to get acquainted with the app. With time, I will still delve into various coloring.
