InkTober 2022: Day 10 - Pick
Hello everyone!
Today, I want to share with you my new artwork for InkTober 2021 drawing challenge day 10 with the theme "Pick".
I can't image we are in day 10 already! That came so quick. It wasn't quite a tough one to come up with an idea for today's theme cause I had already had an invitation of this some days back.
The work depicts a giant's hand trying to grab the big headed small man. You can see how terrified he is from the expression in his face.
With his mouth open in shock and fear, his knees are on the ground and his hands held up in surrender. That giant's hand is almost close to pick him up.
This could be connoted to real life where the affluence especially the politicians try to suppress the poor ones - people with no voice - with their powers.
The drawing was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper and I used scribble technique to create this piece. My steps are below:
