Drawing A Portrait (158)

Hello everyone!

Today, I present to you my new art work. It's a quick portrait drawing using the using the freehand principles.

Observe how I first made the oval shape for the head before dividing it into two halves from up to down. I also created the eye line, nose line and mouth line which would guide me to sketch the out. As I'm sketching them out, I am also adding their forms - until I get the final outcome - That's what simple lines can do.

The portrait was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a needlepoint paper.
