TV Tower and Donouts - Where is the time? (The Berlin Days) ---- Fernsehturm und Donouts - Und die Zeit vergeht === ENG/GER
Yesterday we had another chilly but heart-warming afternoon in Berlin. Spring is still hiding somewhere and winter had another comeback with some snow and flurries swirling around most of the day.
The city center was busy and lively as usual. Since coming here became something special it is easy to see and feel all the change which has happened here during the last years. But somehow I think that my city has lost a big part of it's charm, being a major tourist hub seems to have it's price. However it was great to come here again before leaving for Japan in a few days. Time is flying fast, important to live every moment.
I usually don't go for Donots but a day like that was a good chance to go for something different so this little box of 6 made for a nice treat for the three of us. The little one is still chewing on her own stuff, I'm glad she had now idea what we were snacking on.
Gestern hatten wir einen weiteren kühlen aber doch wärmenden Nachmittag in Berlin. Der Frühling versteckt sich immer noch und der Winter hatte ein weiteres Comeback mit Schnee den ganzen Tag lang.
Die Stadtmitte war voll und lebendig wie immer und da ich nicht mehr oft hier bin, kann ich leicht die ganzen Veränderungen in meiner Stadt sehen und fühlen. Aber irgendwie scheint die Stadt eine Teil ihres Charmes verloren zu haben, das man ein Touristenhotspot sein will hat halt seinen Preis. Es war trotzdem toll mal wieder hier gewesen zu sein, bevor es in wenige Tagen wieder zurück nach Japan geht. Die Zeit vergeht wie im Flug, es ich wirklich wichtig jeden Augenblick zu nutzen.
Normalerweise bin ich nicht so der Donots-Fan aber an diesem Tag war diese 6er Box ein ganz angenehmer Snack für uns Drei. Die Kleine kaut immer noch auf ihrem eigenen Essen rum, zum Glück weiß sie nicht was wir hier in uns reinsnacken.

Sooooo.--- auf so Donuts hätte ich ja jetzt überhaupt keinen Bock... pffff wer brauch schon diese süßen kleinen Dinger, die den Gaumen zu einem Feuerwerk verhelfen, ach was. Also auf so Donuts, jetzt, könnte ich ja total verzichten. Wie die schon aussehen, mit der lieblich übergossenen Glasur und dem überstreuten Puderzucker. Donut´s so ein Quatsch. Son Berliner wäre ja auch Blödsinn, da ist ja noch mehr von dem super leckeren Teilchen zu geniessen, wer will das schon... .... Irgendwie klappts nicht mit dem Schlechtreden... verdammt
Haha. Beinahe hätte ich ein schlechtes Gewissen bekommen. Aber auch nur beinahe.
Ich wollte es mir dann auch noch schön reden, von wegen am Abend gibt es nur Suppe. Alle Quatsch, manchmal muss es einfach sein

I didn’t realize they had DD in Germany. Did you know Mister Donut used to be DD?
didn't know that. what is it called in the US now, DD?
and Mister Donut only in Japan?
I might be getting the history confused, but I think DD was the original company and for some reason in the 70’s it underwent a transformation into Mister D in Japan. I the US it’s still DD.
