Time beats longing =/= Zeit schlägt Sehnsucht 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

There is so much to see in our lives, and yet we have so little time. So much we have to skip or save for later, and the list of all the things that still want to be visited and seen is getting longer and longer.

Some time ago, during a trip to Kamakura, we were standing in front of the Hase Temple, wondering if we would have enough time that day to visit this place as well. Half the day was already over and we had also targeted another location, which had a higher priority for us. But I had actually also planned for this temple, especially since I had been here once before and still vaguely remembered it. So I really wanted to refresh and share my memories.

But a look at the clock showed us that we just had the time to stop in front of the entrance gate, only to turn around again and hurry on. I looked around but that couldn't satisfy my longing at all. Quite the opposite, because now my interest had been aroused all the more and was then choked off mercilessly.

Even if the rest of the day still had to offer some other interesting and enchanting things elsewhere, my thoughts were nevertheless coming back to this gate. Of course, it was probably rather counter-productive that I had taken photos of it, but I kinda wanted to capture this very moment.

Well, now I have another goal on my long list of places where I absolutely have to pass by again. Probably it will take quite a while until we will stand in front of the Hase Temple again. But maybe I should start planning it secretly. My heart will thank me for it...

In unserem Leben gibt es so viel zu sehen, und doch haben wir nur so wenig Zeit. So einiges müssen wir auslassen oder uns für später aufheben, und die Liste all dessen, was noch besucht und gesehen werden will, wird immer länger.

Vor einiger Zeit standen wir bei einem Ausflug nach Kamakura vor dem Hase-Tempel und überlegten, ob denn unsere Zeit an jenem Tag reichen würde, um auch hier noch einmal hineinzuschauen. Der halbe Tag war bereits rum und wir hatten auch noch ein weiteres Ziel anvisiert, welchen für uns höhere Priorität hatte. Aber auch diesen Tempel hatte ich eigentlich mit eingeplant, vor allem da ich ihn von einem früheren Besuch noch wage in Erinnerung hatte und diese unbedingt auffrischen und teilen wollte.

Aber ein Blick auf die Uhr zeigte uns dann, dass wir an jenem Tag wohl nur kurz vor dem Eingangstor stoppen würden, nur um sofort darauf wieder umzudrehen und weiter zu eilen. Ein wenig sehnsüchtig schaute ich mich noch um, und konnte damit meine Sehnsucht dpch keineswegs befriedigen. Ganz im Gegenteil, denn jetzt war mein Interesse erst recht geweckt worden und wurde dann gnadenlos abgewürgt.

Auch wenn der Rest des Tages andererorts noch so einiges Interessantes und Zauberhaftes zu bieten hatte, waren meine Gedanken doch immer wieder genau vor diesem Tor. Natürlich war es wohl auch eher kontra-produktiv, dass ich genau davon Fotos gemacht hatte, aber ein wenig wollte ich diesen Augenblick dann doch festhalten.

Und so habe ich ein weiteres Ziel auf meiner langen Liste der Orte, wo ich unbedingt noch einmal vorbei muss. Wahrscheinlich wird es auch dieses Mal eine ganze Weile dauern, bis wir wieder einmal vor dem Hase-Tempel stehen werden. Aber vielleicht sollte ich doch ganz heimlich ein wenig mit der Planung anfangen. Die Sehnsucht wird es danken...
