Photo edit – Digital Art – Ripples are a Learning Curve
When you fall over, you get up, brush yourself off and keep walking. What doesn't kill you further strengthens you. This is what ‘Ripples are a learning curve’ is meant to represent, as it is a majestic tree with a lot of ripples, representing the wind in a hurricane. They batter the tree and test it to a breaking point, but it is still there, majestic as ever. Surviving a storm is always a story that inspires people.
I wanted ripples throughout the piece to put into perspective the fact that you can fall over a lot before you give up. The blueish tint throughout the piece lends it a cold, almost eerie feel to it, like a stormy winter sky. The tree is off center to demonstrate the power of the wind but also the resilience of the tree. Almost as if the tree just had a major ripple and is dealing with it at the very moment.
