Now DiCaprio should play a leading role in a biopic according to the book "Leonardo Da Vinci" by Walter Ayzekson famous for the best-sellers.

Leonardo DiCaprio not only will play a leading role in the movie, but also will act as one of producers of the movie. The outline of a plot of future screen version will become known only on October 17, 2017: the publication of the book of Walter Ayzekson in the USA is appointed to this date. As reports Deadline, the Paramount studio has acquired the rights to the screen version of the edition for the seven-digit sum, having acted as the rival in persistent fight for them with Universal studio. 

Walter Isaacson who was once the director of CNN TV company and the editor-in-chief of the Time magazine is known for the biographies of outstanding figures of the past and the present, from Benjamin Franklin to Steve Jobs. His best-sellers appear in many languages. The series "Genius" about Einstein with Jeffrey Rush in a leading role which have appeared in 2017 are also based on the book by Isaacson. For creation of the new work devoted to da Vinci, the author has studied contents of his manuscripts and considered all latest researches connected with a name of the artist.
