Europe and Jupiter – 38 years ago
We continue to remember an improbable mission of "Voyagers" which this year was 40 years old. This picture has been made "Voyager-1" in 1979. On him the well-known Big red spot of Jupiter is represented. In the left bottom corner the satellite is noticeable - it is Europe which attracts researchers with probable presence of large volume of water. And the dark stain at the top of the image is a shadow from the Io satellite which hasn't got into the shot.

Such an odd image. What is this matter in between the planets?
