YOUR CONVICTION IS THE POSSIBILITY
SELF CONVICTION, THE BEGINNING OF VICTORIOUS LIVING

Conviction is a powerful thing. It is a strong fixed belief in something or someone. Conviction is a propeller, it also is that which gives 'staying' power (endurance) but with two essential ingredients, which are, rest and joy.
Matt 27:22 is a thought provoking scripture. The same question that Pilate asked more than 2000 years ago, is the same question being posed today. Pilate asked
What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, let him be crucified.
Their response is shocking, crucify him? After teaching them the way of God; after raising their dead; after feeding them; after bringing healing to many; after all these and more, their response was, crucify Him! Interesting!
If I ask us the same question today but with a slight twist. "What have you done with Jesus?" What have we done with the message He brought? What have we done with the life He gave? What have we done with the fellowship He offered us with His Father and His Kingdom?
What have you done with your faith? You can utilize your faith to witness the the truth

John 18:37 says
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
These are very special words, they are priceless, but they are also revelation the of the character of the One who gave His life to rescue us. The part I like the most is this, "to this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth" The Lord lived, died, rose again from the dead as a testament of the Truth.
What is the Truth that He came to bear witness of? That there is a God in Heaven who has chosen that His Kingdom would not be complete without each of us. This Truth came from above, from outside this world. The world would like us to believe that this Truth does not exist. That there is no God in Heaven; how could He exist and evil continues to be perpetrated. However, the life of Jesus made that abundantly clear that Truth does exist and He bore that witness.
We too must live life daily witnessing that God is Truth, God's love does exist and that we are products of His unconditional love.
This witness is revealed by the spirit of God, and we must be filled if we must witness

Acts 2:4 says
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The disciples were first filled with the Spirit, and then they served. Why? The Spirit reveals the mind of God. The Spirit searches for, unveils and gives the enablement to do according to the desire of the Father. The Spirit is our guide. Therefore, we must stay filled with the Spirit, so that we do 'not go off script.'
The more we stay filled with the Spirit, as the scripture has said, the better positioned we would be, to hear and to do.
It is the Lord's desire that we all be well grounded in the Truth, but it is our responsibility to stay filled and be yielded to Him. He cannot do this for us.
The Lord has granted us all that is necessary for a rich faith walk, but we must allow Him do His work in and through us.

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Let us be filled with the spirit.
I love the passage of the scriptures you used, we are being exposed to the knowledge of God from faith to faith.
