Update on my project for deep water-well for my community and neighborhood
Giving out to others attracts help from God and from men.
Giving is a virtue that every life should have. All creations were programmed to give continuously to the common good of others. That’s why no one holds unto his or her life in this milky way galaxy forever; death is the last giveaway from every living thing.
Some people may think that that giving should be out of surplus; no, giving starts within. Giving is a product of love which is the foundation that upholds life.
How to build the attitude of giving which eventually opens windows for the giver.
I’ll tell you a little story on how I learned the goodness of giving.
I used to give out of surplus before now which is not a bad thing anyway. But I later discovered that giving out of lack has more spiritual significance. Then again, supplying the need of others is another giving that has good spiritual and fiscal high ranking.
The children in the picture above are children from the community where I live. Actually, I’m a sojourn in this community. I was coming from a supposedly rich and well known state in Nigeria, but I was called to serve humanity especially the poor and the needy.
My call wasn’t from the government, rather it’s a spiritual calling. I’m not rich with silver and, neither with cryptocurrency nor with fiat money. But I believe in humanity, and I believe in mutual coexistence that existed before the existence of monetary systems.
I came to the remote community and observed that they’re living with a huge obstacle for so long which is water problem, and I knew that it’s time to give. Giving here could be from solving this problem of water. Of course my family is also facing this problem now because we live here.
I started making plans on how to solve this problem. Having no money on my own to pursue this project, I reached out to the outside world through articles and business plans on water security. And after several months someone provided a loan to me. This loan I must pay with 15% interest.
I’m happy that the project is ongoing, and soon, this water scarcity in my neighborhood will be lessened via this ongoing irrigation scheme through a bore well.
The project is being pursued with great intensity so that it can be utilized this dry season in Africa.
Deep water wells as this is the only way to get manageable water for both humans and livestock in this community, but this project will apply a water purifying techniques that will get the water potable for drinking.
I want to thank my church; Heartchurch community in showing a great support to this project and for other good work that they’re doing around the world in making sure that suffering children and poor family are being taken care of.
I’m also grateful to #steemit community in general for being a great support to me, my family and my community at large. Remember, giving starts deep in our hearts. Never stop giving!
