Jamuna Railway Bridge, Tangail
Greetings to everyone, I hope you are all well, by the grace of God I am also well. Today I will review the railway bridge over the Jamuna River, the largest river in our Tangail district. I took pictures of the bridge from every angle while passing by the train. Its construction started a few years ago. A few days ago, I boarded this train to go to Rajshahi and crossed the Jamuna Railway Bridge. It has two tracks side by side so that trains can come from both directions.
The main objective of the construction of this bridge is to increase the speed and capacity of rail communication between the east and the west. It will create an independent rail communication system along with the existing Bangabandhu Road Bridge. It is under construction and is scheduled to be completed by 2027. It was inaugurated a few months ago and has been running since then. To go to this Jamuna Railway Bridge, you will first have to purchase a ticket from the station, then after boarding the train, you will be slowly taken over the bridge. You can see huge electric lines next to the railway road.
This bridge is a bridge made of iron on which the train can move very easily. The railway line that was there earlier was a line next to all the other vehicles, later a separate railway line bridge was made by taking steps. That is why it is made very beautifully so that it looks like a European bridge. When you see this bridge from the train, you can see the water of the river from below. There is a small line next to the bridge through which emergency people move.
Whenever you cross this bridge, you can enjoy the true beauty of nature. Since it crosses the Jamuna River, one of the largest rivers in Bangladesh, you can enjoy all the beauty of the Jamuna River. Especially during the rainy season, when the water in the river is high, various types of ships and trawlers can be seen in the river. You can see the scene of fishing when these trawlers come to catch fish. Although the general public is prohibited from standing on this bridge, only trains can operate as vehicles.
I have traveled over this bridge twice. First, I went over this bridge while going from Tangail to Rajshahi. On the other hand, when I came over this bridge from Rajshahi to Tangail, I took videos and pictures of every scene at the moment I came on the train. When this increase comes, you have to be careful to stick your head out of the door because if you go out too much, you may hit the iron railing. This was the most enjoyable train journey of my life. I made a video when the train was entering in front of the bridge.
When you pass in front of this bridge, you can see some fishing trawlers below, as I saw. Also, sand is extracted from the bottom of this river with this trawler. Those who have never seen how sand is extracted from under the water can see this scene, it is a very beautiful scene. There are many people who have never seen how sand is extracted from the river, when they pass this bridge, they can see how sand is extracted from the window or standing in front of the door in the trawler.
I was standing in front of the door when I was coming across this bridge. I could feel all the wind from the river hitting me. In fact, it is impossible to forget such a moment. Especially if you go over a newly built bridge, it will give you a different feeling. I had been hoping for a long time to go over this newly built train line, and my hope came true. When I was coming by train, I took a selfie video while the wind from the river outside was hitting me on the train.

We always share different places in this atlas. But today I shared a slightly different topic, I hope you liked it. If I had been allowed to stand on this bridge, I would have stood there and taken a few more pictures and videos. But there are no rules for ordinary people to stand there, so I could not stand on the bridge. I hope you liked my blog.
