crypto reverse fork? Converge?

in #crypto9 years ago

I have read a bit on altcoins at bitcointalk. I regret not going there first before I invested into hextra coin. In any case there are thousands of coins and ideas which may likely feel like an overflow of coins. Good or bad wee will have to see for ourselves.

I imagine it is a good thing more people are getting involved but many altcoins are forks of most common coin such as xmr. Sooner or later there will be too many similar coins with very little differences. I wonder is it possible for creators/programmers of one coin decide to merge with others coins. Just a thought....

I read a little about Ark and atomic swap but I'm thinking more like the typical business mergers. Where one owner buys out another and rebrands the sold properties. In crypto the whole coin being sold would automatically convert into the coin that bought them out. Of coucZrdmxmxc
