Appreciate what I have...

Tomorrow will be four years since I had Presidents' Day off from work. That is mainly because my new work place has it as a mandatory day off.

It will be a day where's I get to rest and be with the family more. Sometimes losing something really helps put things into perspective.

I was once indecisive on whether professional career or family was more important. As those who work in bettering themselves it makes sense that they do best in both. Yet there will be times where one has to be priority. I am clearly happier when I put in the time being with my family.
