Evaluation: eFootball PES 2020
About the game
This year's Pro Evolution Soccer series is back under a slightly different name, eFootball PES 2020, which focused on improving some aspects of gameplay in search of adding more realism.
Positives
One of the first things you will notice in this section is to provide more weight in the style of play, which made the experience more realistic depends on the collective and tactics and short passes between the players. Also added some new additions in the style of play such as control of the ball with narrow distances and camouflage shot and then scroll directly. All these things helped make the experience of each game different.
Physicalism greatly affects the style of play, the speed of the player and the way his body is positioned affects how he receives the ball, the quality of his pass or shot. So choosing the moment of repayment is very important. You can also feel the style of each player in the team and the similarity of the movement with realism.
The guards have evolved considerably with this part, you'll find it difficult to skip them and score goals, their movement is realistic and their reactions fast. In general, the defense system is more organized in this part and is not easy to overcome.
Added a new camera angle called pitch, which is the default angle in this segment. The camera covers the pitch well and moves like TV coverage of the games. Despite the smallness of this addition, it made a difference to me.
Some simple additions are welcome by Master League, such as the possibility of choosing a coach from retired celebrity players such as Mardona, Roberto Carlos and others, with interactive press conferences and dialogues with the team management providing some options and improvements to make transfers more realistic.
Negatives
The arbitration of the game is not balanced at all and has many errors, you will find the referee calculates eccentric errors and sometimes does not count things that seem obvious, and the principle of opportunity is not always applied correctly.
Artificial intelligence has some problems.Once your players or opponents are dealing in a strange way, they will suddenly move away from the ball, or receive the ball incorrectly even when there is no pressure from the opponent. From playing on high difficulty and against a strong opponent.
The usual chain problems are still going on, the game interface design is very poor, impractical and has no uniform shape. You'll find that every time you enter a style the interface varies greatly and is impractical. Continuous disruption to play with settings, slow loading screens when the ball comes out and even fast switching takes time sometimes.
I don't really understand why the eFootball name was added to the series without improvements being added to the team play side. Even the new Matchday mode, which creates competition between players based on real games, is a beautiful but very limited idea and can only be accessed within certain hours so you will have to wait until next time, so most of the time will not be available.
