More than 50 years ago the first attempt to manufacture supersonic aircraft began, Boeing on the one hand with its Boeing SST and on the other British Airways and Air France with its Concorde since it was thought that in the 70s all flights of Long distance passengers would be made using this type of supersonic transport.

Hace ya mas de 50 años dio comienzo el primer intento de fabricación de aviones supersónicos, Boeing por un lado con su Boeing SST y por otro British Airways y Air France con su Concorde pues se pensaba que en la década de los 70 todos los vuelos de pasajeros de larga distancia se harían utilizando este tipo de transporte supersónico.

But in 1971 Boeing canceled its project and in Europe, just for a matter of prestige, the Concorde was manufactured that never succeeded, only 13 aircraft made regular flights and this thanks to subsidies from British Airways and Air France, even the aircraft remained operational until 2003, which was permanently abandoned.

Pero en 1971 Boeing canceló su proyecto y en Europa, solo por una cuestión de prestigio, se fabricó el Concorde que nunca llegó a prosperar, tan solo 13 aparatos realizaban vuelos regulares y esto gracias a las subvenciones de British Airways y Air France, aún la aeronave se mantuvo operativa hasta el año 2003 que fue abandonado definitivamente.
