Berbicara tentang obat herbal dari daun sirih, pastinya kita bertanya-tanya kandungan apa atau zat apa yang terdapat dalam daun yang berasal dari kerajaan “plantae” ini. Untuk itu, tujuan saya menulis artikel sederhana ini hanya untuk membahas kandungan yang terdapat dalam daun sirih.

Tentang Daun Sirih

Sebelum berjalan lebih jauh, mari kita kenal lebih dekat dengan tanaman ini. Seperti yang saya utarakan di atas, daun sirih berasal dari kingdom plantae dan termasuk dalam fammili piperaceae. Kemudian ada vitamin C, mungkin mayoritas dari kita tidak mengetahui bahwa dalam daun sirih terkandung vitamin C, dan kita hanya berfikir bahwa vitamin tersebut terdapat hanya pada buah-buahan saja.

Itulah sebagian zat atau senyawa yang terkandung di dalam daun sirih, pastinya yang saya sebutkan hanyalah sebagian saja dari betapa banyak senyawa atau zat lainnya yang ada.
