purifying the Ego: 3a
inner tension is there
how to get it out
maybe write it out?
any other ideas?
i'm open to any
and all
speaking of the all
no, not the all
yes, the everything
what are you doing?
or, before you read this
was there tension?
i'm asking to many questions
the poet should have answers
but is that true?
are there answers?
cut the philosophical crap you say
i agree, there are answers
but not always i say
now you stop reading
nobody is reading this you say
you are right
but that doesn't make you right
that is the point
this exists and will always
your negativity will rise and fall
it will bring inner tension to you and others
this has been an imaginary fight
with someone who will never
read this poem.
"I believe that all human beings must dedicate themselves to writing poetry for half an hour every day, without worrying if the writing is good or bad, if it will be commercially successful or not. Poetry as a constant in life purifies the ego."
