in #food5 years ago

Hello everyone 💞,

Welcome to my #FoodPorn series which I called African Indigenous Healthy Food Processing and I will be taking us through the step by step method which others may have an alternative ways of cooking and this minute I want everyone to be totally fully involve in what I am about to do although it very practical for those of us who love to gain more and which is why Steemit platform is for creativity , knowledge , information , original content , Original photography , educating articles , travelfeeds , contest , Original video content through @dtube , and also @threespeak for more great freedom of speech videos which I lunched my videos there few days ago. This is why Steemit platform is more than just blogging site but very educative and creating great content is involved.

Before I start my #Foodporn series the third post , I will like to diversify into some African Indigenous Healthy Food Processing with respect to the above subject I have been working on for few days and then we can talk about the details shortly after the sub topic here on Some healthy diet. In Africa generally speaking we have different ideas, opinions, background and perspective we look at certain things and I will pick point few healthy diet which I will further investigate and work on the food processing and how to prepare them in tutorial form. We also consume more of Green Vegetables , natural fruits , African dishes such as Pounded Yam this is the most prominent food that is consumed if not all over the West Africa, I will say all over the world entirely with different soup. It can be taken with different soup in different ethic region like in Yoruba tribe we can eat pounded yam with Egusi soup ( melon soup) , Green Vegetable soup prepared with stock fish , With Ewedu soup ( Jute soup). In Ibo tribe it can be eaten with Ogbolo soup and other related drawing soup. Other Yoruba Indigenous Healthy swallow food are Yam flour meal , Plantain flour meal , Semolina , Cassava processed meal , Garri ( Eba) and many others which are not mentioned here.

Back to our today's class which I called How To Prepare Eggplant sauce with boiled Yam. Here I found out that many at times we humans do have alternative for food which is very great ,but most times we do not consume the appropriate diet to make us grow well, fight other harmful diseases, grow more stronger ( calcium giving diet ) as for fruits as well, do we not mix thoroughly all those Healthy fruits together but we consume anything we see to keep us alive. That's why I will give all my best to continue this #Foodporn series to enlighten us on what to do, how to do it and when to do it. We can be genus but don't know what to do until we have someone to Kickstart us, that's why I am here. I entertain different questions, comment , answers and others to make the series grow wider and Bigger.

Making a way forward is to prepare a very healthy delicious delicacy which will help you to grow in strength, power, body and mind. I made this Eggplant sauce with many a kind of my own great discretion of food preparation . In this food series, I made use of this ingredients which at the end makes a very delicious food delicacy.

  • Eggplant ( Itself)
  • Onions
  • Pepper
  • Maggi
  • Vegetable oil ( Alternative can be Red oil)
  • Frying pan
  • Knife
  • Salt
  • Heat Source ( Gas Cooker)

Tutorial On How To Prepare Eggplant Sauce Making Sweet Smelling Aroma

Step 1.

Eggplant from the source. Source from its tree.

The first step in this food preparation is to get the eggplant either the purple one or the white eggplant. But in this case we are using the White Eggplant produce. I have a big eggplant tree in my farm so I do say it is great to be an Agriculturist because you eat fresh seeds, Vegetables, and the likes. I went to the farm to fetch just two of my white eggplant produce from its tree. After this was done I further did a thorough washing of the produce to avoid several things such as germs and related airborne diseases.

Step 2.

Here is the thorough washing of the eggplant produce after I fetch it from its tree. I made my own intention known why I washed it several times.

Step 3.

After I have finished washing the Eggplant produce, I went to give another alternative to cooking specimen by putting it side by side along side with the already peeled sliced yam tuber which I intended cooking together. As for the yam , I peeled a fully yam tuber and diced it into smaller pieces to make it done quickly as soon as possible.

Step 4.

Like I was saying, I diced the eggplant produce into several pieces which was close to 8 in number, the idea came along when I used a smaller piece of pot to prepare the already peeled yam, so I equally used the opportunity to boil the eggplant as well.

Step 5.

More Used ingredients

  • I used Onions, this onions are white onions i used knife to sliced the white onions in pieces to allow it to release it nutrients faster and more.

Step 6.

I used grinded pepper to make the frist time layer to prepare the sauce.

Step 7.

Here I have my three cubes of maggie, grinded pepper and onions. This will be mixed together inside the frying pan on the cooker.

Step 8.

I have salt here which serves as source of sweeter as well. Salt helps to improve the sauce taste when it.

Step 9.

Here are the other made ingredients.

  • Vegetable oil
  • salt
  • onions
  • pepper

#Step 10.

After boiling the Eggplant produce for 15 minutes, I removed them all with care so as not to loss more of its natural nutrients. So the above picture showed that after I removed the pieces from the hot source which is the cooking pot, I patiently removed the main edible part of the eggplant with fork and after the act I set aside the waste in a hand bowl. Although like I always say, Nothing is a waste in my own dictionary.

This is how it finally looks after removing the edible part of the eggplant with fork patiently. It texture look so mixed. It formed eggplant paste.

This is the boiled eggplant waste after removing the main edible part of the main food. This left over waste which I got from the eggplant has it own uses. Nothing is a waste here. It will be used as feed supplement for my rabbit.

Step 11.

This was how it looks when I was removing the edible part of the eggplant with ease. But when you don't take some precautions when doing this, you will definitely mix things up and the waste will be added or join to the main edible paste.

Gradually process is done here.

These above images showed in sequence and finally how the eggplant paste looks. Or better still eggplant mash.

Step 12.

After removing the edible part aside in one plate , I placed the clean frying pan on the gas cooker and I kindly pour little of the Vegetable oil slowly to avoid excessive oil splash.

Step 13.

I added little bit of grinded pepper to the already frying Vegetable oil to begin the sauce persay.

Step 14.

To the already boiling pepper on fire , I added sliced onions to increase the amount of aroma, to increase the taste value of the sauce, to Improve the texture, to increase the quality of the sauce.

Step 15.

I have to stir the mixture up together so as so make it done uniformly and to increase the palatable ratio.

Step 16.

I added a little bit of Salt. Why did I put more of little salt into the sauce, to make the sauce taste more friendly to eat.

Step 17.

step 17 showed the way how I packed the eggplant paste slowly into the hot mixture of Vegetable oil, salt, pepper and onions.

After I have finished pouring the eggplant paste inside the already boiling pepper mixture, I left it for 10 minutes at first. Then the second was 10 minutes again to make it more done and so delicious.

Step 18.

Finally, it is done. I dished the eggplant sauce inside a clean hand bowl and also the already boiled yam ready for consumption. Here it is equally good to eat when it is still hot because when you eat this healthy balance diet meal with fully processed ways it gives more nutrients to the body. And also it gives the body more fighting agent for the body. It also bring togetherness in family, when you eat together. It serves as a big alternative for egg , butter and co

Why Do You Need To Consume Eggplant sauce

  • It releases more micro and macro nutrients.
  • it gives vitaminsz phosphate, phosphorus
  • it reduces blood pressure in the body.
  • it motivate the body enzymes to act more on food.
