Replanting New Set Of Vegetables And Maize( Mixed Cropping) Homesteading Life

in #homesteading5 years ago (edited)

Hello Steem Community,

I decided to give this video out to show how deep is good to be a farmer doing your thing your own way and also the main reason behind my clearing and cleaning of a little plot of land to plant two types of vegetables and inclusive maize as well. I initially planted just vegetable and now its mixed cropping I preferred to cultivate on it.

Thanks for watching

Thanks for sharing your video, I think planting our own crops and doing our own agriculture is incredibly important for sure. I think it connects us back to the planet and to the understanding that things take time. It lets you appreciate the process in my opinion!

That tall plant, I'm guessing was a tree, did you say you use the branches for mulch? I need to try to put some things on the soil near the bottom of my plants to prevent pests from getting to the soil but not sure what to use.

Growing your own food is SOOOOO important! Hoping in is nice & natural NON-GMO corn. Is GMO corn also prevalent in West Africa?
