The babysitter sat on the plush edge of the couch eating ribs. She smacked her lips and licked her fingers and thought how nice it was for the Shepherds to leave this delightful meal for her. The note on the door said that Johnny was sleeping and just to hang out until they got home.
She didn't mind that at all. Johnny was a very fussy 9 month old and she was just fine not dealing with him if she didn't have to. Besides, they left this delicious food for her with another note "enjoy".
She did enjoy, she watched her favorite movie while munching on those oh so tender ribs. Her parents never let her watch this movie because it was "too scary for her". Well, no one was around to stop her now.

Miles away, the two elders of the Shepherd clan sped forward at alarming speed.
" How long til they all know?" asked mama.
"Probably not til morning, I guess." papa answered.
"Do you think they'll catch us?" worried mama.
" I doubt it, we will be across the border soon, and Suzie is eating the evidence."
