Crypto Conversations - Unexpected, but Welcome
This morning, I met with someone that I hadn't seen in a while for coffee and conversation. I wasn't expecting to talk about crypto, but he mentioned it. Turns out he's been into crypto for a while, too.
I told him what I've been up to with Bitshares and showed him the Bitshares DEX. Even though he's been around crypto for a while and knew a lot about blockchain tech, he hadn't heard about Bitshares. I was glad to be able to introduce him to it!

There are probably a lot more people involved with crypto than you think.
Going Forward
One of the things we talked about was "Crypto Classes" or some event that people could attend and get started with the basics of crypto-currencies. I'm not sure if I'll do an event, but I am considering a Meetup. I am certainly meeting with people individually to help them get started. And I will also likely start doing the same thing online with people I've met here on Steemit.
I'm wanting to spread the message of peer-to-peer money to more people. So far, I've ended up doing that nearly every day this past week. Success!
