Does it get much better than this? Fitzroy Island- Paradise on the Great Barrier Reef.

When visiting Northern Australia there are a million things to do, but everyone wants to visit the great barrier reef!
There are many island gems upon the great barrier reef that you can visit, one such island is Fitzroy.

The island itself is a 45 minute boat trip from Cairns, and is nothing short of stunning.

If you dislike scuba diving and prefer the snorkel this place is for you. Fitzroy is surrounded by beautiful reef teeming with fish and other wildlife, you are sure to see something that excites you. In fact, I was fortunate enough to bump into my first turtle whilst snorkelling off the shore.

Or alternatively you could walk about and explore some of the rain Forrest on the Island, get yourself a place on one of the Kayaking trips, or even just sit on the beach and soak up the sun.

I have been to quite a few places around the world and this, in my opinion, is as close to paradise as it gets.
