Did you know that less than one percent of the human population on earth own Bitcoin? Did you also know that of the less than 1 percent of humans who own Bitcoin less than 1 percent of them own a full Bitcoin or more. I'd bet you didn't know that the staggering wealth inequality I just exposed in Bitcoin is still easily eclipsed by the ponzi scheme that is government issued fiat.

Zcoin is looking to do three things I think can cement it as "The next Bitcoin". One is egalitarian mining, Satoshi's vision did not include Asics made by 3 Chinese companies who can't produce enough for the public. Everyone can hoard gpu's and cpu's which are made by many companies and found in many stores.

The second is removing the trusted setup from Zcoin while Zcash seems to have no way of doing this.

The third reason is how Zcoin developers are looking to future threats like quantum computing now and being proactive rather than the complacency and slow movement found in Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies. 10 Dollars seems like a high price per Zcoin today but if Bitcoin has taught us anything it is that if you invest under 20 dollars you don't need to hold very many coins to make a small fortune when the rest of the world catches up to you.
