in Tron Fan Club2 years ago

Greetings, Tron fans! I've decided to share with you another great crypto review. I hope you'll enjoy it.

I've been dealing with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology since 2020, so I'm familiar with them. My goal is to provide content that will assist crypto enthusiasts, particularly those who are new to crypto and blockchain technology, in learning how to interface with different blockchains and understand different crypto concepts.

Today I've decided to talk to you about the Binance Smart Chain; if you've been interacting with DeFi and DEX, you'll be familiar with this term. My main focus will be on how to set up and connect your wallet so that you can interact with the Binance smart chain.

Binance Smart Chain (BSC)

Many new chains have emerged as a result of the growing popularity of Blockchain Technology, one of which is the Binance smart chain which is owned by Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange. Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is a blockchain that runs alongside the Binance Chain and handles smart contracts and tokens in the same way as Ethereum does. Transactions are almost instantaneous, and gas costs are minimal. The main difference between Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum is that Binance Smart Chain is considerably more centralized.

For its lightning-fast and low-cost transactions, BSC has gained tremendous popularity and has become the go-to blockchain for gaming. Every transaction will have a gas fee, similar to Ethereum, that will be paid in BNB, BSC's native coin. These transactions are handled in the order of highest gas fee, hence they will act similarly to Ethereum transactions. Gas fee may rise if the network is congested, and transactions during that time may be delayed.

How To Set Up & Use Binance Smart Chain (BSC)

Okay, now that I've covered the basic and meaning of Binance smart chain (BSC), let's move on to today's major topic: How to set up and use BSC on Trust wallet or Metemask. First and foremost. For transactions, you'll need a wallet and some amount of BNB. There are a variety of wallets and ways to get started, but I've found the Trust wallet (mobile) and MetaMask wallet (desktop) to be the most user-friendly.

Steps in creating new wallet in Trust wallet;

Step 1: After you've installed Trust Wallet (Google Store or Apple Store), you'll need to create a new wallet. Click on Continue. Trust wallet app will then generate a personal recovery phrase, which you must write down, and keep in a very secured place.

Step 2: The phrase words you wrote down must then be confirmed by re-entering them in the order you wrote them down. And yes, you've created a new wallet.

The app does not recommend or allow screenshots

Step 3: After you've successfully created the wallet, the next step is to transfer some BNB to your wallet for any transactions. Add Smart chain, then open it and select Receive. Copy the address for your new BSC wallet.

To deposit BSC, visit any exchange and buy BNB, Binance is an example, you can buy BNB with your Fiat or any other crypto. On Binance you can buy BNB using USDT or BTC. Select Withdraw, then paste the BSC address select Binance Smart Chain as network and confirm the transaction

You can as well buy it right in the app with Trust Wallet! Simply click "Buy," at the upper corner of the homepage, choose Smart Chain, and input the desired amount. Then select your preferred third party payment method.

Step 4: Although there isn't technically a step 4, Since your wallet is ready and you've deposited BSC, then you can now interact with with Dapp on Binance Smart Chain.

Importing Your BSC Wallet To MetaMask and connecting to Binance smart chain

You should also note that the same wallet created on Trust wallet can be used on MetaMask, the process is simple and straightforward.

All you have to do is install the Metamask chrome extension. On the homepage, click on Import Wallet then enter your recovery phrase and finally create a password for metamask

Step 5: Now that you've imported your wallet to MetaMask successfully, The next step is to connect the network to Metamask so that it can interact with BSC. To do this, select "Ethereum Mainnet" from the drop-down option. You'll notice an option labeled "Custom RPC." Click that, then and fill out the information as shown below.

Finally, click on the Save button. Congratulations you've successfully connect metamask to Binance smart chain (BSC) you can now interact with the BSC blockchain and the decentralized apps built on it.
