Shoutout to @nathanmars + new Steemmonsters mechanics got me FULLY on board! ** I opened all 32 packs **
Despite all the craziness around the game, I still wasn't fully on board. I had some cards, fairly enjoyed the gameplay altho I was playing mostly because of the rewards for quests and season rankings. But the team is doing absolutely amazing steps! New game mechanics are 1000x better and now it really real playing I feel. Also, their new posts about Converting Alpha Cards to Beta! has made me even more excited as it's a solution for 3 problems at the same time - check the post to see what I'm talking about. That being said, I'm all in :)
The only downside of the new game mechanics is that I can't play at work anymore hahah :D
But before I open the packs, I talk a bit about @nathanmars. This guy, not only curates sooo many various DTube videos, but he actually upvotes the comments below the videos....wait for it.....TWICE!! He does it once when upvoting the video as well and then comes couple of hours later and upvotes all new comments again!! He has done than 2 times on my last videos. I just thought it would be nice to praise him publicly and maybe other big users could take example from him ;)

Yah man Nathan is really making an impact here for sure. He has made a huge impact on me personally doing the same thing and I benefit from his generous delegation. Helps me upvote more good content and engagement.
As for steem monsters, I didn’t like the pay to win model in the beginning and ignored it. You will have to convince me to play!

Oh wow, I didn't know he's doing even more than just what I talked about. Cool as hell!
And to monsters..hmm it's not really a pay to win because you basically don't meet those people who pay in the battle...and even if you meet cuz they're just working their way up, most of their monsters are limited to your level anyway...soo most of the time I fight very similar opponents what makes it quite fun..soo it's more like a pay to win more.. because those who payed have much higher score, are in much higher league with bigger season rewards..but system barely matches them with you...but I get ur point.

Not saying it isn't awesome. I just see so many people posting about it and having fun and am beginning to think I am missing out.
I am excited about the alpha to beta conversion! I have some cards alpha and beta both lvl 4 to be cool to see what level i get when i convert! Can't wait for this feature!
I wouldn't be changing those alphas for betas tho..
